MIKE WALDEN
Mike is a thirty year veteran of the Law Enforcement community. He served in the United States Air Force as a Security Specialist and conducted a tour of duty in Germany. He then entered into civilian Law Enforcement in 1979 with the Polk County Florida Sheriffs Office where he served in the capacity of Deputy until 1981. Mike then continued his career at the Lakeland Florida Police Department where he became involved with tactical training. He is a 12 year veteran of SWAT and served as an entry team member as well as team leader. As the senior Defensive Tactics Instructor and senior Firearms Instructor he coordinated and designed training for both the department's in service training as well as SWAT. He retired in 2005 from Law Enforcement and continued his career in the training field as the Lead Instructor for Heckler and Koch Defense Training Group.
